Compared to normal farming practices, this study’s intensive management treatments boosted corn yields up to 21 percent, total starch and subsequent ethanol output per acre by up to 42 percent, net dollars per acre by up to 28 percent and reduced nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions by 16.7 percent.
